THE NATIONAL HERITAGE CENTER

BENEVOLENT, PATRIOTIC ORDER OF DOES OF THE U.S.A.

It is with appreciation that I continue to acknowledge receipt of your donations to the National Heritage Center. As you might imagine, it is imperative that we all continue to demonstrate our belief in this project and continue to make contributions in order to reach full completion of the interior of the building, including landscaping. During this time of economic crisis in our nation, many of us are making choices as to our expenditures. Spending as well as saving our money is a challenge. We are apprehensive about the money that we have invested in the financial market as well as in our homes and our communities. The crisis in our nation will affect each one of us, no matter our age or station in life. Now, more than ever, in our Order, as in our Nation, it is important that we come together and show unity; that we remain level-headed and hold steadfast to our values; that we have the foresight to look beyond these times and dedicate our energies and resources toward the things in our lives that signify the future.

The milestone that we have achieved in the construction of the National Heritage Center with the help of dedicated Members such as each one of you is truly a demonstration of our determination for the future and exhibits our belief in the permanence of our Order. In this time of stress and uncertainty, you can be proud that you have had and continue to have the foresight to be a part of this undertaking that will shape the future of our Order. Pictures of the construction progress are now posted on the BPO Does website, bpodoes.org. We will continue in 2008-2009 to add the donations to those given since June 2001 to determine the individual Member and Drove contribution levels. If you have previously contributed to this important project and can do so again, please accept our advance thanks.

Please use the contribution form printed below to ensure proper recognition of your contribution and send to our Supreme Secretary, Mavis Spikes, P.O. Box 815549, Dallas, TX 75381-5549.
